A rare walnut Hen Tricks call, Neil made only 50 or so of these combination box-slate calls.  All except a very few were made of red cedar.  As Neil liked the sound of the cedar call, he did not experiment much with other wood types.  This call is inscribed on the bottom "Personal collection June, 1985," and in 1998 Neil added "The only one I made in Walnut."  Circa 1985.
