One of two known examples of this beautiful Walking Gobbler plain-sided cedar call, this call was responsible for the demise of many old South Carolina toms. Neil admitted that applying the artwork on this call convinced him that he lacked the gift of drawing illustrations. The other call is featured opposite this page and is quite similar in design and wood characteristics, although you will notice the turkey is walking through a bit less vegetation in this example. Circa 1962. |
